perseverance

I also learned about perseverance. The movie said that no matter how many times you get turned down by a person that is won't determine the out come or your future. It said that the person that wrote the book  Roots got turned down 205 times by publishers but never stop his dream of publishing his book. And after 4 years the book finally got published. So the movie taught me to NEVER give up on you dreams and to always persevere through any situation because no one can stop you but you.

Feed Back

The topic of the movie today was feed back. And   I learned that you have to learn to take positive and negative feed back because it teaches you what you did right and what you can work on. I also learned that all feed back is not going to be good and that you have to learn to deal with it and don't let it determine your future or were you want to go in life. I believe that feed back is a was you allow a person to know how good they are and how good they can possibly be.

This section of the video we learned that you have to visualize what you want to do then make it happen. I also learned to set goals that will blow your mind. Meaning always set goals that a big to hold yourself at a higher standard than you could visualize. I believe that the video is correct because so many times I see people settle for lesser goals and never set and visualize what they want to do. And in the end they are always saying I could have instead of I did. So I believe that their were a lot of life lessons learned in this section of the video and still is more to learn.

Making My Dreams Come Through part 2

I learned from this movie that no matter how many times you get turned down you have to just get up one more time. I leaned from the man that wrote the Chicken Noodle Soup book that he got turned down133 times by publishers in New York but he persevered and finally found a willing publisher. He also said that no one can do your push ups you have to do them your self. From This video I learned that you always have to go for what you want and never give up no matter what drama nor obstacles may come your way.

Halloween and its history

Halloween or Samhain had its beginnings in an ancient, pre-Christian Celtic festival of the dead. The Celtic peoples, who were once found all over Europe, divided the year by four major holidays. According to their calendar, the year began on a day corresponding to November 1st on our present calendar. The date marked the beginning of winter. Since they were pastoral people, it was a time when cattle and sheep had to be moved to closer pastures and all livestock had to be secured for the winter months. Crops were harvested and stored. The date marked both an ending and a beginning in an eternal cycle.

My Dream Vacation

My dream vacation would have to be in Hawii on a beach house.  I would like to just swim all day and go dancing with the hawaiian people all night. I would want to be their with my best boy, Leroy Daris and Justin. our trip world include all the fun and excitement we can have for 10 days of vacationing.

Hello my name is Demond Miller. I live in Venice Illinois and have a brother and a sister that are 16 and 17. My brother is 17 and my sister is 16. I am 19. I am a senior at Lovejoy High School In Brooklyn Illinois because my home city of Venice currently don't have a school. I am the best basketball player at my school and love being active and I do not have any kids.

future plans

My future plans are to attend S.W.I.C and take up classes for culinary arts and become the and excellent chief. I want to also one day own my own business, employing up and coming chiefs such as my self. I also want to attend college to become a middle school teacher so I can have a second option plus I would want to have power over kid like the teachers have over my as of now and i think it will be a great experience to work with the youth. So those are my future plans and hopefully they will become and reality.

Health Care in America

              I think health care in America suck. I think health care in America suck because when you turn a certain age the government talks free health care from you even if you do not have the money to pay for medical problems that may occur. I believe that our government should be the back bone for the people of the United States of America.

              I also believe that the health care plan in America suck because i have  knee problem but i can't go to the E.R to get it checked out. I can't even get a doctor to see me because I have no insurance. It seems as if the U.S do not care about the poor man or the people that having bad times. I guess every thing in America isn't what it seem to be.

QUEST FOR SUCCESS

What do I consider success? I think success if accomplishing what ever goal and ambitions in life. In my opinion it's also being financially stable.
